("MEZZI", "MEZZI BRAND GROUP" or the "Company") (TSX-V: MZI, FRA: 0MZ) is pleased to provide an update on its recently announced (see news release dated February 21, 2017) soft launch of its new direct sales channel for the MEZZI Smart Luxury line of tech-enabled accessories.
This sales channel, called the MEZZI Brand Ambassador Program (MBA), allows influencers to generate sales through their own affiliate tracking links and custom promo codes. Commissions are earned on sales they directly refer as well as override commissions from signing up other brand ambassadors to the MBA program. This program is ideal for digital influencers that are looking to monetize their social followings and websites.
Since the soft launch, more than 160 new brand ambassadors have been approved for the program from over 220 applications. Combined, these digital influencers have more than 4M instagram followers and are based globally including: Australia, Colombia, Mexico, Germany, Spain, Russia and India.
Initial posts have begun to be made by our new Brand Ambassadors and MEZZI has already shipped converted sales within North America, South America, Europe and Australia.
The Company also announces that a total of CDN $30,000 owed to Consultants of the Company will be settled in common shares in the Company at a deemed price of $0.05 per share. A total of 600,000 shares will be issued to settle the debts and will have a four month hold from the date of issuance. The debt settlement is subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
