Duke Energy completes sale of minority interest in its commercial renewable energy portfolio to John Hancock

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 6, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Duke Energy (NYSE: DUK) today completed its previously announced sale of a minority interest in a portion of its commercial renewable energy portfolio owned and operated by its affiliate, Duke Energy Renewables, to the John Hancock Infrastructure Fund ("JHIF"), part of Manulife Investment Management, and John Hancock Life Insurance Company (U.S.A) (collectively, "John Hancock").
