(TSX VENTURE:OYL) ("CGX" or the "Company") announces its results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011 which results are presented in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS") in Canadian dollars. CGX reports a loss for the second quarter 2011 of $6.9 million ($0.04) compared to a loss of $2.7 million ($0.02 per common share) for the second quarter 2010. As at June 30, 2011, CGX held cash and cash equivalents and short-term government T-Bills of $34.9 million.
