CALGARY, March 27 /CNW/ - Hemisphere GPS (TSX: HEM), a designer and manufacturer of advanced GPS products, has filed a final prospectus with SEDAR (System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval) qualifying the common shares issued on conversion of 5,555,600 special warrants. The special warrants were issued pursuant to a private placement which closed on December 27, 2007 (the "Special Warrant Financing"). The Special Warrant Financing was led by a syndicate of underwriters led by Canaccord Capital Corporation that was announced in a press release issued through CNW Group on December 27, 2007. The special warrants are deemed to have been exercised as of March 26, 2008 and holders of the special warrants will receive certificates representing common shares within 5 business days from the date hereof, with no further action on the part of the special warrant holders.
