VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 3, 2007) - Hawthorne Gold Corp. ("Hawthorne") (TSX VENTURE:HGC) announces that it has entered into an investor relations and corporate communications agreement with Skyblue Relations ("Skyblue"), a private consulting company, the principal of whom is Todd Hanas. The term of the agreement is for an initial three-month period commencing October 3, 2007, renewable on a monthly basis.
Skyblue will receive a fee of $4,000 per month and has been granted 20,000 stock options exercisable at $1.60 per share and expiring on October 2, 2009. The agreement is subject to approval by the TSX Venture Exchange.
