QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - June 26, 2007) - H2O Innovation (2000) Inc. ("H2O")(TSX VENTURE:HEO)(ALTERNEXT:MNEMO:ALHEO)is pleased to announce the signature of two new contracts: the first one in partnership with Siemens Water (California) and the second with the company Canadian Royalties in Northern Quebec. The aggregate value of these contracts amounts to CAN$ 1.1 M and add to the sales backlog of H2O consequently standing at CAN$ 10.1 M.
The first contract was signed by Membrane Systems Inc. ("MSI"), H2O US subsidiary and will be jointly executed with Siemens Water. The 1.2 MGD (4500 m3/day) wastewater reclamation system will be installed in California. The design and construction will be based on membrane technologies, known for their efficiency and customary used for this application.
To meet the wastewater treatment immediate requirements of its mining camp in Nunavik (Northern Quebec), the company Canadian Royalties has selected the H2O "BiH2Omobile" mobile unit, built-in a 48 ft. insulated marine container designed to treat 4000 GPD (15 m3/day) using the Bio-Fosse technology. "This compact unit is particularly handy to serve any type of isolated work camp. It may be easily hauled to hard to reach areas. Furthermore, the unit may be re-used on different sites and constitutes an investment amortized on several projects", commented Simon Bouchard, H2O territory manager. It is worth mentioning that H2O was selected for its short manufacturing lead time, its fast delivery and its expertise in custom-designed water treatment units.
