TORONTO, May 11 /CNW/ - DUMONT Nickel Inc. (DNI:TSX-Ven, DG7:FSE) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a 2007 Earth Day Award by the Utah Board of Oil, Gas and Mining, in recognition of DUMONT's pro-active reclamation and environmental restoration work at several of its mineral exploration sites in Utah.
Earth Day Awards honour organizations, companies or individuals who go beyond what is required by regulation to protect and restore Utah's environment while developing essential natural resources. DUMONT was honoured with the 2007 Award on April 25, 2007, for setting high standards which exceed regulatory requirements during restoration of its exploration sites, and for achieving reclamation success surpassing standards in difficult circumstances.

DUMONT is a mineral exploration company with operations in Ontario, Utah and Nevada.
