("Silvercorp") (TSX:SVM)(NYSE:SVM) today reported that production at its Ying Mine, in Henan, China will be interrupted for approximately 5 days in the current quarter as a result of power interruptions. The power interruptions are the result of work being done to relocate power lines in order to accommodate new highway construction. Silvercorp's management team is working closely with the relevant authorities to ensure power to Silvercorp is restored as soon as possible to minimize the impact on the Company's operations.
