TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 15, 2012) - SPOT COFFEE (CANADA) LTD. (TSX VENTURE:SPP) ("SPoT" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that SPoT has won the Artvoice Best of Buffalo 2012 Best Coffee Award. The award is presented yearly and is nominated and voted on by the community of Buffalo, NY.
This award highlights SPoT's continued commitment to quality and excellence and its dedication to serving its communities. SPoT roasts all of its coffee in-house in small batches to ensure consistency and quality and uses premium Arabica coffee beans. The Company recently announced that it is expanding the current coffee roasting, supply and operating facility. The new gourmet coffee roasting facility is located at the SPoT Delaware café and will service up to 20 SPoT cafés, the targeted growth for the year 2013, as well as the increasing number of commercial accounts. The expanded coffee roasting facility, with increased operating capacity, is expected to commence its operations June 2012. It is designed in a manner that will enable SPoT Delaware patrons to view the roasting operations firsthand through large glass windows between the coffee roasting facility and the Delaware café. It will feature a hand painted mural by a local artist illustrating the coffee growing and roasting process from seed to cup.
SPoT would like to thank Artvoice of Buffalo for this recognition and SPoT looks forward to continuing to serve its community with its gourmet coffee and food.
