SAGUENAY, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - March 29, 2007) - The management of Arianne Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:DAR) ("Arianne") provides an update on recent geophysics surveys that took place on its Opinaca project, James Bay, Quebec.

Arianne is pleased to announce the reception of the final results from ground geophysics surveys (IP and Mag) that took place in February on its Opinaca property and the Lac H property from SOQUEM, from which Arianne can acquire 50 % through an option agreement. These two properties are contiguous and Lac H is located within the west extension of the gold showings identified on Arianne's Opinaca property.

A 63-km magnetometric survey (Services Exploration Inc.) and a 52.7-km resistivity/induced polarization survey (Abitibi Geophysique Inc.) were completed in order to investigate a high potential area for gold and base metals. Similar surveys were also performed on a length of 15 Kms on the Opinaca property. These surveys were done to improve the definition of the main showings (Contact, Isabelle, gold sediments and Chino) of the property.

From the 58 induced polarization ("IP") anomalies surveyed, 6 of them, located along the volcano-sedimentary or just north of it, are viewed as very promising. Drilling is also recommended on 11 of the 14 second-priority anomalies. Also, 16 third-priority anomalies will be further investigated. The magnetometric survey improved the definition of the geological context, including the volcano-sedimentary contact's strike that continues on the Lac H property.

From the 6 high-priority IP anomalies, 5 are located on the Opinaca property while DD-01 is located on line 84+00W, station 6+00N, within the SOQUEM claims, nearby the volcano-sedimentary contact's strike.

The following table show the 5 other ones :
