VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 7, 2007) - Adriana Resources Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ADI) announces that Major Drilling Group International Inc. has been contracted to provide a drill rig and crew for a minimum 2,000 metre diamond drill program on the Bear Valley Uranium Project in Nunavut, Canada.
Based on the results from the 2005-2006 exploration programs, the Company intends to focus the current drill program on its 100% wholly owned All Night Lake, Pointer Lake, and Tabb Lake target areas. In addition to this, the Company intends to direct approximately $350,000 of the uranium exploration budget towards its obligations under the UNAD Joint Venture with Unor Inc. (TSX VENTURE:UNI).
The Hornby Bay Basin shares similarities with the Athabasca and Thelon Basins and is identified as having the potential to host significant uranium deposits.
The drill rig under contract will be capable of drilling the deeper holes required for the Company's adjacent MIE Ni-Cu-PGE Project currently in the planning phase.
Mr. Afzaal Pirzada, P.Geo, a Qualified Person under NI 43-101, has approved the technical content of this News Release.
