HALIFAX, Dec. 6, 2011 /CNW/ - For the 17th consecutive year, TD is asking Haligonians to support Children's Miracle Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for 14 children's hospitals across Canada. TD will help make miracles happen this December by matching donations, up to $1 million, to support your community's local Children's Miracle Network member hospital.
To launch this year's initiative, on December 8, Spencer, IWK patient ambassador, will be at TD Canada Trust branch at 1785 Barrington Street to break a large piggy bank to encourage Haligonians to donate on December 9th and throughout the year. Funds raised will support IWK Health Centre Foundation.
