CALGARY, Dec. 6, 2011 /CNW/ - For the 17th consecutive year, TD is asking Calgarians to support Children's Miracle Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for 14 children's hospitals across Canada. TD will help make miracles happen this December by matching donations, up to $1 million, to support your community's local Children's Miracle Network member hospitals.
To launch this year's initiative, on December 8, 2011, Leland and
Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation mascot, Dr. Teddi, will be at
the TD Canada Trust branch in Calgary Market Mall, to break a large
piggy bank to encourage Calgarians to donate on December 9th and throughout the year. Funds raised will support Alberta Children's
Hospital Foundation.
