HAMILTON, ON, Dec. 6, 2011 /CNW/ - For the 17th consecutive year, TD is asking Hamiltonians to support Children's Miracle Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for 14 children's hospitals across Canada. TD will help make miracles happen this December by matching donations, up to $1 million, to support your community's local Children's Miracle Network member hospital.
To launch this year's initiative, on December 8, 2011, McMaster Children's Hospital Patient Ambassador, Jarod, and Dr. Peter Fitzgerald will be in TD Canada Trust branch at Upper Gage and Rymal Road E to break a large piggy bank to encourage Hamiltonians to donate on December 9th and throughout the year. Funds raised will support McMaster Children's Hospital.
