Special Live Event is a Tribute to Parks Canada's Centennial
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 8, 2011) - Cineplex Entertainment (TSX:CGX), via our Front Row Centre Events, and OASIS HD give viewers a behind the scenes look at two of Canada's most spectacular National Parks and the threats and challenges they encounter. Captured in stunning high-definition, A Park for All Seasons travels to Tuktut Nogait National Park, a remote arctic park, and Pukaskwa National Park which is located on the shores of majestic Lake Superior. This special live event can be seen exclusively at participating movie theatres across Canada on November 13, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. EST, 3:00 p.m. CST, 2:00 p.m. MST and 1:00 p.m. PST.
"This event gives Canadians an unprecedented look at two of the country's National Parks, allowing guests to experience the park's beauty and splendour from the comfort of the theatre," said Pat Marshall, Vice President, Communications and Investor Relations, Cineplex Entertainment.
"I'm thrilled to share these two parks with Canadians," said Craig Colby, Director of Production at Oasis HD. This is the best chance the audience will have to see Tuktut Nogait National Park as it's remote, undeveloped and rarely visited by people. Pukaskwa National Park is just as beautiful so viewers will also get a special look a park they can visit easily."
Broadcast live via satellite and hosted by Sarah Harmer, this special presentation allows the audience to submit questions on Twitter to Parks Canada specialists and the producer of A Park for All Seasons. Select questions will be answered live before the completion of the event. Guests can submit their questions via Twitter to @OasisHD.
