November 8, 2011 - Vancouver, B.C. Ocean Park Ventures Corp. ("Ocean Park" or the "Company") (TSX-V: OCP) is pleased to announce the first drill and trench results of its 2011 exploration program at the Golden Range project, south central Alaska. The Notch discoveries are located less than 15 kilometres from a paved all-season highway and 10 kilometers from dirt road access.
Six drill holes and four surface trenches were completed at the Notch target, testing a 40 to 60 metre thick shear zone containing sheeted gold bearing quartz-arsenopyrite veins. The shear zone has been mapped for 1000 metres of strike and remains open to the west. Drilling and trenching tested two targets, the East and West Notch. Drill and trench results suggest good continuity of mineralization from surface to over 250 metres down dip. Higher grade gold mineralization is concentrated in more strongly altered intervals within the regional shear zone. Drill hole results are summarized in the table below.
Table 1: Significant Intercepts from Drilling
--------------------------------------------------------------------- |Drill Hole|From (m)|To (m) |Interval|Gold (g/t)|Silver |East/West| | | | |(m) | |(g/t) |Notch | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |GR-11-09 |101.2 |117.0 |15.8 |3.19 |1.93 |East | |---------------------------------------------------------| | |including |101.2 |108.0 |6.8 |4.49 |0.92 | | |---------------------------------------------------------| | |including |112.3 |114.1 |1.8 |8.84 |10.67 | | |---------------------------------------------------------| | | |140.5 |152.8 |12.3 |1.60 |1.93 | | |---------------------------------------------------------| | |including |141.5 |147.8 |6.3 |2.58 |2.77 | | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |GR-11-10 |149.1 |149.6 |0.4 |5.15 |0.70 |East | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |GR-11-12 |Lost in fault – no significant intercepts |East | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |GR-11-15 |210.5 |227.4 |16.9 |1.99 |- |East | |---------------------------------------------------------| | |including |212.5 |217.6 |5.1 |4.57 |- | | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |GR-11-16 |No significant intercepts |East | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |GR-11-13 |1.9 |46.7 |44.9 |0.34 |0.68 |West | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |GR-11-14 |64.9 |102.4 |37.5 |0.40 |- |West | ---------------------------------------------------------------------
Drill holes GR-11-10 and GR-11-12 were lost in a minor post-mineral fault and hence did not intersect the main shear zone.

Surface trench results are of similar tenor to drill intercepts. Trench results are summarized in the table below.

Drill and trench results confirm similar styles of alteration and mineralization at the East and West Notch, which are separated by 500 metres of talus slope lacking bedrock exposure. These results suggest the two zones are both part of the same gold-mineralized structure. Two 10+ g/t gold grab samples have been collected from the shear zone at West Notch, indicating that higher grade mineralization is also present at this target.
Results from the East and West Notch confirm the presence of a large, gold-mineralized quartz-arsenopyrite vein system within a regional shear with over 1000 metres of confirmed gold bearing strike. Drilling has confirmed a minimum down dip extension of the gold zone, which dips at a low angle to stratigraphy.
The Notch targets will be definition drilled in 2012.
Mr. Chris Taylor, M.Sc. P.Geo, is Vice President Exploration with Ocean Park and is the Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101, who supervised the preparation of the above information.
Drill core assay results are evaluated through a Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) procedure that includes the use of standards with known precious and base metal values, duplicated core intervals and blank samples in order to determine accuracy. Assaying was carried out by ALS Group of Fairbanks, Alaska.

About Ocean Park Ventures
Ocean Park is a well-funded Canadian mineral exploration company working in three leading jurisdictions, with active exploration including diamond drilling underway on 3 properties. Ocean Park can earn a 70% interest through its joint venture in the Trapper Gold project, northern British Columbia, where historic work has identified a 2000+ metre by 500 metre gold-in-soil anomaly returning results as high as 19 g/t gold. The Company can also earn up to a 70% interest through its joint venture in the Chisna Gold project, south-central Alaska, where a 9+ kilometre gold-in-bedrock and soils target has been identified returning results as high as 260 g/t gold, the Golden Range. A 75% interest can be earned through its joint venture in the Adelita Copper-Gold-Silver project, Sonora, Mexico, where a 10+ square kilometer polymetallic soil anomaly having a porphyry signature includes a copper-gold-silver mineralized, drill-tested skarn.
