Corus Entertainment and NBCUniversal Television Canada Extend Multi-Year Agreement

New Box Office Hits BridesmaidsLittle Fockers and The Adjustment Bureau Coming to Movie Central as Part of Deal

TORONTO, Oct. 25, 2011 /CNW/ - Corus Entertainment Inc. (TSX: CJR.B) and NBCUniversal Television Canada today announced the renewal of their exclusive output distribution deal. This multi-year agreement, which encompasses linear and non-linear rights, provides Corus Entertainment's premium pay TV service, Movie Central with access to an extensive catalogue of new theatrical feature film titles from the acclaimed Hollywood studio and content provider.

Among the big screen hits from NBCUniversal that will be featured on Movie Central in 2011 and 2012 are: Little Fockers, The Adjustment Bureau starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, Judd Apatow's box office hit Bridesmaids and the upcoming release Tower Heist starring Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy, to name a few.
