MONTREAL, May 19 /CNW Telbec/ - Tembec President and Chief Executive Officer, James Lopez, is pleased to announce the appointment of Linda Coates as Corporate Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs.
Ms. Coates has a long-standing career of over 25 years in the field of Communications and Public Relations, having held various executive positions in Canada as well as in Europe with global, diversified, leading companies involved in the sectors of mining and metallurgy, cement and related products as well as high technology manufacturing.
Ms. Coates graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Linguistics and Communications and a Master Degree in Business Administration. She will play a pivotal role in the Corporation as the Principal accountable for Corporate Communications, Public Relations and Government Relations. Ms. Coates joined the organization on May 1.
