VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 23, 2006) - Goldrea Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:GOR)(PINK SHEETS:GORAF)(FWB:GOJ) ("the Company") reports the company is continuing its exploration to the west of the Open Pit Daye Gold Mine on ground covered by the Goldrea Rushan Joint Venture. The surface exploration is presently focused on the western extensions of the gold sulphide mineralization as the planned shaft will provide efficient access to the deeper southern extensions of the mineralization to the south. The following table is a partial list of results of trenching done in the past by various Chinese operators and trenching done by Goldrea in the past year. The earlier results are incomplete and searches are being made in China to recover those that remain in the Chinese archives. The surface drill has been moved to the west end of the Daye Structure which is referred to as the West Tianjia Zone.

Drilling on the Langiazhuang License has begun and two holes are completed. Visual examination of the drill core indicates that two mineralized structures were intersected each two meters in the core, the first at 96.0 meters and the second at 116 meters. Assays are expected shortly. A small I.P. survey has been completed with results indicating an abundance of sulphides within the structure. Five more lines are proposed at 50 meter intervals extending the pattern to the north as the anomalies were not closed out on the north end of the earlier survey.
