ROUYN-NORANDA, QC, Dec. 7 /CNW Telbec/ - Ressources Pershimco Inc. (TSX : PRO) continues its activities at the San Miguel silver mine, in Chihuahua state, Mexico. The mine, discovered in 1687, has been to date the most productive mine of the district with between 250 000 and 300 000 tons of ore extracted down to a depth of 152 meters. Some mines of this district produced ore down to a depth of 500 m. In 2005, processes of rehabilitation and sampling of the mine have been started. The electrical network has been modernized and a sump pump has been installed to allow dewatering of the openings to a depth of 90 m at level 300. It is a breccia with up to 20% sulphides (pyrite, silver bearing galena, argentite and sphalerite). Its average width in the drift varies between 1.05 and 1.75 m and widens to 5.85 m at the beginning of the stope. Within the stope two (2) intersecting structures are observed.
