TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 29, 2005) - Exall Resources Limited (TSX:EXL) is pleased to announce that Derek C. Rance, P. Eng., MBA, BSc. (Min. Eng.), FCIM, has re-joined Exall's Board of Directors after a short hiatus. Mr. Rance was a director of the Corporation until the May 11, 2005 Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders after which he was to have been appointed as a director of the previously contemplated Gold Eagle Mines Ltd. Since the Gold Eagle Mine Project will now remain in Exall Resources Limited, Mr. Rance will re-join the Exall Board.
Mr. Rance is currently the Chairman of Behre Dolbear & Company, Limited, having served as its President and Chief Executive Officer from 1997 to 2003 in Toronto. Behre Dolbear, founded in 1911, has been continually operating for 90 years. The company, with headquarters in Denver, Colorado, is a preeminent technical and managerial consultant to the mining industry on a worldwide basis. It specializes in mineral industry studies for mining companies, financial institutions, and natural resource firms. Typical studies conducted by Behre Dolbear are reserve compilations and audits, mineral property evaluations and valuations, due diligence studies for acquisition purposes, assistance in negotiating mineral agreements, and market analyses. The firm works worldwide with a broad spectrum of commodities including base and precious metals.
Prior to Behre Dolbear, Mr. Rance was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Iron Ore Company of Canada ("IOC") from 1989 to 1997 which, under his tenure, achieved the largest reduction in cost of the 13 North American iron ore producers. IOC also became the first mining company in the world to achieve ISO 9002/87 certification and again repeated this achievement under his leadership when being certified to the new ISO 9002/94 standard. From 1965 to 1975, Mr. Rance was Director and Mine Manager of Dickenson Mines Limited in Red Lake, Ontario, which is now known as Goldcorp Inc.'s flagship Red Lake mine.
