(TSXV : PRO) ROUYN-NORANDA, QC, Aug. 25 /CNW Telbec/ - Six (6) samples collected as part of our preliminary program for an evaluation of silver bearing reserves on our San Miguel property in Mexico (see press release June 22nd ,2005) did return the following grades : 147.7 g/t, 148.0 g/t, 201.5 g/t, 400.0 g/t, 794.9 g/t and 971.4 g/t. The six (6) samples weighting more than 50 Kg. were collected in three (3) different sampling zones from level 2000 located in the lowest part of the weathered layer, some 38 meters deep. They were took in sulphides rich structures located in the extension of superficial silver high graded zones. The preliminary evaluation program took place in spring 2005 and was focussed on three aspect : - Dewatering of the mine; - Rehabilitation of the infrastructures; - Surface and underground geological reconnaissance. This program keep going and will be speed up at fall with an underground sampling program at levels 250 and 300 some 85 meters deep; sampling will be done using channelling or/and drilling techniques. At that depth, the weathered layer is likely to be disappeared and a significant enrichment of mineralized structures is expected as we get closer to the root of the mineralizing system. Dewatering works were kept going for all summer 2005; they enabled the Company to witness that the infrastructures were in much better condition than anticipated. This would bring down considerably the cost for an eventual reactivation of mining operations. A section of the San Miguel mine (shaft and drifts) is available on our website www.pershimco.ca with updates on our Courville gold project in Abitibi, Quebec.
