CALGARY, AB, Aug. 24 /CNW Telbec/ - Edmund M. Shimoon, President & CEO of
Calvalley Petroleum Inc., (TSX-V: CVI.A), is pleased to announce the
appointments of Mr. David Tkachuk to Senior Vice President position and
Managing Director of Calvalley's operation in the Republic of Yemen.
Mr. Tkachuk will be responsible for all Calvalley's international
exploration, development activities in the Republic of Yemen. He brings
25 years oil and gas experience.
Mr. Tkachuk has a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering with
extensive international experience in Drilling, Facility Design and
Production. Before joining Calvalley, Mr. Tkachuk was a Senior Officer of
Nelson Resources Limited, and Director General of their Joint Venture Project
in Kazakhstan.
Mr. David Winter has submitted his resignation to pursue his personal
interest.
