Further to the Company's news release of April 13, 2005, Dr. Faouzi Zerrouk reports that the Letter Of Intent between Synoptics, an affiliate of Northrop Grumman Corporation Space Technology ("Synoptics") and Zecotek Medical Systems Inc. has been further extended to August 31, 2005. The Letter of Intent contained an original expiry date of June 30, 2005 but was later extended to July 31, 2005.
Synoptics advises that it continues to experience much success in the growth of the LFS crystals at its facility through the technology transfer received from ZMS. Negotiations continue between the parties toward a final manufacturing and distribution agreement relating to the establishment of a Joint Development Relationship and the execution of a license for the manufacture of Zecotek's LFS scintillation material by Synoptics.
