CALGARY, Sept. 25 /CNW/ -- Leading investor relations professionals from across Alberta were recognized last night at the 6th Annual Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI) Alberta Awards Gala in Calgary.
Awards for excellence in 2009 went to:
IR Professional of the Year - John Cobb, Keyera Facilities Income Fund
Management Team of the Year - EnCana Corporation
Volunteer of the Year - Mike Macleod, Georgeson Shareholder

Lifetime Achievement - Linda Zavarella, Imperial Oil Limited
The awards gala also served as a fundraiser for the Albert Park/Radisson Heights Community After-School Program (CASP). The event raised almost $10,000 for the program, which offers free drop-in programs for families in the Albert Park/Radisson Heights areas for children aged 6-12.
