MONTREAL, Sept. 11 /CNW Telbec/ - Sentient Executive GP II, Limited (for the general partner of Sentient Global Resources Fund II, L.P. and as custodian of Sentient Global Resources Trust II) (collectively, "Sentient II") announces that it has acquired control or direction over 15,277,939 ordinary shares (the "Shares") of Marengo Mining Limited ("Marengo"), representing approximately 3.07% of the outstanding shares of Marengo.
Sentient II now has control or direction over 132,659,080 Shares (representing approximately 26.64% of the issued and outstanding Shares of Marengo).
Sentient II acquired the Shares for investment purposes only and not with a view to materially affecting control of Marengo. Sentient II has no present intention of acquiring beneficial ownership or control over additional Shares of Marengo.
