Zedi introduced Mr. Artindale to the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held this afternoon. The process of interviews, discussion and decision from Mr. Artindale was not able to be completed in time to provide notice to shareholders in the Information Circular for election of Mr. Artindale at this AGM and so the board has subsequently appointed him.
Mr. James Artindale is a private business person, resident in Calgary, who is currently initiating a new oil and gas venture. He has most recently served as a vice president at EnCana. Mr. Artindale has founded, led and sold a number of successful oil and gas operations over his more than 30 years since graduating from engineering at the U of C. Mr. Artindale is familiar to many around Calgary and, in addition to his strong reputation as a leader in the Canadian oil and gas sector, has served on numerous charitable boards and projects. He holds a number of patents and has co-authored an engineering text book. The Company is very pleased that Mr. Artindale has consented to serve as a director for Zedi and look forward to his contributions to an already strong board.
