VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 22, 2009) - Cloudbreak Resources Ltd. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CDB)(PINK SHEETS:CUDBF)(FRANKFURT:C6K) is pleased to report that Saskatchewan Energy and Resources has delivered to the company additional coal permits encompassing 4.5 full or partial townships.
To date, all of the Company's coal and potash permit applications have been processed. The "Company" has a total of 23 full or partial townships, or approximately 520,000 acres of coal permits in Saskatchewan and approximately 350,000 acres for the rights to subsurface potash which lie in the Vermillion area on the Saskatchewan-Alberta border.
The Company has received a refund in the amount of $57,314.00 from Saskatchewan Energy and Resources for rejected applications pertaining to 5.5 full or partial townships. The "Company" also withdrew applications for 9 full or partial townships in Saskatchewan and has received a refund in the amount of $82,944.00.
A refund in the amount of $10,437.50 has been received from the Department of Alberta Energy, Mineral Development Division in Edmonton, Alberta for rejected applications for the rights to subsurface potash.
The Company currently has over $750,000.00 working capital and has been in contact with a number of drill rig operators regarding the Saskatchewan coal permits. Currently the "Company" is gathering historical data on the permitted grounds in Saskatchewan and is working on an updated map of the permitted areas which will be available on the "Company's" website shortly.
