TORONTO, Dec. 17 /CNW/ - Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Wednesday, December 17, 2008:
- The shares of WSR Gold Inc. (TSXVN:WSR) will trade under the new name of "White Pine Resources Inc." and the new ticker symbol "WPR." The shares will be consolidated on a 1-for-10 basis. The new CUSIP number will be 964343 10 7.
Company additions to and deletions from an S&P equity index do not in any way reflect an opinion on the investment merits of the company.
