Nightingale continues to grow Ontario customer base, adding new clinics to its OntarioMD ASP certified EMR platform
Contract Wins Demonstrate that Nightingale is the Partner of Choice for
Physicians Adopting EMR

MARKHAM, ON, Oct. 7 /CNW/ - Nightingale Informatix Corporation ("Nightingale" or the "Company") (TSX-V: NGH), an application service provider (ASP) of electronic medical record (EMR) software and related services, today announced contract wins with two OntarioMD funded physician groups for its ASP EMR solution, highlighting the Company's continued success in building on its Canadian market leadership position.

OntarioMD funded physicians at Perry Street Clinic and 1100 Family Health Network have selected Nightingale's ASP EMR solution, Nightingale On Demand. Nightingale's full featured web-based EMR and practice management offering relieves physicians from the burden of buying and implementing costly hardware and software and dealing with system maintenance and security issues.

"Nightingale's ASP model is a significant leap forward in the delivery of EMR for physicians, as it provides me with secure anytime anywhere access to my clinic." said Dr. William George of the Woodstock-based Perry Street Clinic. "We chose Nightingale On Demand because it is the most straightforward path for healthcare professionals to achieve the benefits of an EMR system, and will provide our clinic with a cost-effective, easy to implement solution to improve patient care and streamline administrative tasks."

As a family practice and walk-in clinic, physicians at Perry Street provide care for more than 250 patients a week. As such, they required an EMR solution to improve management of their patients' medical records and to more efficiently track regular patients and walk-ins. Particularly important to Perry Street's five physicians is the secure on and off site access to patient charts and lab results that Nightingale's ASP EMR solutions provides.

Toronto-based 1100 Family Health Network's seven physicians will soon link to more than 30 physicians who comprise the North York Family Health Team - a group of family health physicians dedicated to improving patient care through the one patient, one record EMR model, making this one of the largest Family Health collaborations in Ontario. In the coming months, physicians at 1100 FHN will use Nightingale on Demand to connect to pharmacies, labs and specialists within the Family Health Team network, creating a complete continuum of care for their patients.

"Nightingale is proud to be able to work with forward-thinking physician groups that recognize the value EMR adds to the way they manage their practices and provide care to their patients," said Sam Chebib, President and CEO, Nightingale. "These customer wins further demonstrate that Nightingale On Demand is the solution of choice for Canadian physicians who want to achieve the benefits of an EMR. As such, we remain excited in our efforts to work with doctors across the country as EMR adoption gains momentum."
