MONTREAL, May 27 /CNW Telbec/ - Metro, Metro Plus, Super C and Marche Richelieu supermarkets will modify their circular's days of validity as of Thursday June 5th. This change will bring the circular consultation closer to the purchasing moment, which is for the majority of the Quebec consumers from Thursday to Sunday.
"The results of inside researches prove us that our customers purchase the majority of their weekly grocery items from Thursday to Sunday. Consequently, they wish to benefit from the weekly specials just after they watch the circular. This change in the validity days is the results of these consuming method changes", has stated Mr. Serge Boulanger, Vice-President, Marketing, METRO Inc.
For METRO, this decision is in the daily life instant trends of Quebeckers and the lack of time associated to the meal planning. From now on, when customers will look at the Metro, Metro Plus, Super C and Metro Richelieu circulars on Wednesdays, they will be able to benefit from the specials the day after.
During the transition week, Metro, Metro Plus, Super C and Marche Richelieu will issue a special circular which will exceptionally be valid for ten days, from May 26th to June 4th. Also, on Wednesday May 28th, there will be a special insert with new promotions available until Wednesday, June 4th.
